How We're Helping
We are a nonprofit organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place, with special focus on children education, rehabilitation and sanitation. With the help of our tireless group of volunteers, we organize fundraisers, community-building events, and volunteering trips for students to remote rural parts of the world.

UPDATE (May 12, 2021) COVID 19 RELIEF EFFORT IN INDIA: Thanks to donors like you, we were able to raise $38,000 in 4 days to help Sampurn Development India purchase a Tempo Traveller Ambulance to transport COVID 19 patients from remote villages in Sonbhadra district (U.P., India) to hospitals and get them access to oxygen. The ambulance has arrived in Varanasi as of today (12 days from the date the need was identified)!!
We will post an update here once the ambulance is fully operational. Thanks to your generosity, many lives will be saved.

Why it Matters
Meet Kriti
Kriti is 6 years old. Her father, Manoj, died when she was very young. She has 5 sisters and 1 brother, with her old grandfather and her mom working day and night in the fields in the village. Most days the family goes without food. They could not even dream of education. Till Sampurna Development India (SDI) stepped in!
..and Dheeraj
Dheeraj is 7 years old. His family is supported by his mother who works as a daily laborer supporting two children. Dheeraj's father has psychological problems so he has seen a lot in his young life. His family goes without food several times a week. However, Dheeraj is studious. With Sampurana Development India run school he is getting educated and has always ranked 1st in class. He is the harbinger of hope for his family and is completely dependent on SDI for education support.
... and Garima
Garima is 11 years old studying at the school run by SDI. She is from a very small village named Newari which has no facilities for water or sanitation. SDI provided hand pumps in the village and also provided some basic sanitation and education on hygiene. Garima's father is a hard working farmer and her older brothers had to leave studies to work at the farms. However Garima is the pride of her family because she is studying in an English medium school and can speak and write English very well. Children like Garima become the hopes of the whole family and village.
Donate your old functional laptops
St. Pauls computer lab program
DROPSEDU was in urgent need for laptops to setup a small computer lab at St. Pauls school near the remote village of Ramgarh in Uttar Pradesh, India in summer of 2019. Thanks to your donations, we setup a computer lab with 12 laptops, and trained the teachers and students on computer basics, word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. The young students are also able to go through self study lessons and quizzes stored on the laptops.
As the lab expands, we will need more laptops, so please let us know if you would like to donate one. DROPSEDU will gladly pick up your old laptop from your home or work anywhere in the Bay Area. Please send an email at dropsedu@gmail.com for pickups.
